Find The Answers You Need

  • What exactly is KonnectMD & how is it different from Health Insurance?
KonnectMD provides 24/7 healthcare services through phone or video consultations with licensed healthcare professionals. We offer personalized care for various medical and mental health needs without surprise costs or inconvenience. We prioritize planned medical care and create personalized packages for members according to their lifestyles, resulting in reduced healthcare costs. Our services cost an average of $59.99 per month without deductibles or income-proof requirements. You can schedule appointments from the comfort of your home at any time, even during weekends or holidays. Our licensed therapists offer talk therapy, while medical providers are board-certified and state-licensed with an average of 17 years of clinical experience. With KonnectMD, your safety is our top priority, so you can receive dependable healthcare services from the comfort of your home.
  • Should I use KonnectMD on top of my health insurance?
Yes! 2 out of 5 members use KonnectMD as a supplemental solution to get less expensive healthcare services. Avoiding visit fees and deductibles is a plus but did you know that avoiding claims on your health plan can help you lower your insurance premiums? Health insurance works well for doing things like getting cancer treatment, it's not so good at helping you pay for a doctor when having a cold, allergies, burns, cuts, or COVID.
  • Is KonnectMD appropriate for every situation?
No. Urgent Care, Primary Care, and Behavioral Health are designed to handle non-emergency medical and mental health conditions. Urgent Care can often substitute for a doctor’s office, urgent care clinic, or emergency room visit for common, non-life-threatening conditions. Primary Care provides care for non-urgent medical concerns and ongoing care for conditions like asthma, diabetes, and heart disease. Talk therapy provides care for hundreds of non-emergency concerns like anxiety, life changes, divorce, and depression. However, if you are experiencing an emergency or crisis, need ADHD stimulant medication, or have any condition that hinders normal day-to-day activities, we suggest visiting an emergency department. You should not use KonnectMD if experiencing a medical or behavioral health emergency. In the case of a life-threatening emergency or crisis, dial 911 immediately.
  • Can my family use KonnectMD?

KonnectMD does not guarantee that a prescription will be written; that is at the discretion of your provider. Please be aware that the providers will not prescribe controlled substances (e.g., narcotic medications, anxiolytics, stimulants) nor DEA-controlled medications (including ADHD stimulant medications, nor anti-anxiety benzodiazepines) Lifestyle medication (medications for erectile dysfunction (ED), hair loss, or weight loss) Detox medications (e.g., Suboxone, Methadone) Medicines intended for intramuscular injections Medicines that require regular lab work and monitoring when lab work is not present for review during the appointments Drugs that have the potential for abuse (e.g., pseudoephedrine, some muscle relaxants*) Sleep medications Medicinal marijuana Antivirals for COVID treatment (Paxlovid or Molnupiravir) due to current FDA reporting requirements and safety guidelines for patients with pre-existing kidney and liver problems
