Dr. Shantrie Renee Orcutt, Psy.D.

Dr. Orcutt is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Oklahoma. She earned her Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on child, adolescent and family studies from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) San Francisco. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and two master’s degrees, one in education for community counseling, University of Central Oklahoma, and the other in clinical psychology, CSPP.

Dr. Orcutt has over twenty years clinical experience and has extensive training working with children, adolescents and the young adult populations on a variety of mental health concerns including behavior disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, transitions, divorce, grief, trauma, depression and anxiety. Dr. Orcutt has also works with adults with various depressive, anxiety and trauma related issues. She has cultivated a specialty in the treatment of anxiety disorders across age groups (Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Separation Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social Anxiety, Phobias, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). She takes a holistic approach to treatment focusing on biological, psychological and social aspects relate to overall health, wellness and functioning.

Dr. Orcutt served 5 years as the Director of Behavioral Health services for Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City before entering back into private practice. As a Clinical Director at Mercy she was involved in direct patient care, supervision and program development in both the hospital and clinic settings. Dr. Orcutt uses multiple methods of assessment and intervention including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Family Systems and Narrative Therapy.
